Why Bao Hin

What sets our approach apart

No hurry, no pressure

Our programmes are designed for people who want time to think. There is no upselling, no follow-up pressure, and no urgency in the room.

Singapore-specific knowledge

Every session is grounded in Singapore's financial landscape — CPF, SRS, SSB, local brokerage platforms, and MAS-regulated products.

Small, considered groups

Group sessions are deliberately small. You will not find yourself in a lecture theatre. The pace and depth of discussion can be shaped by those present.

Clear, plain language

We use plain English throughout, with written materials you can read at your own pace. Financial jargon is explained, not assumed.

Education, not advice

Bao Hin is a place of learning, not a product distributor. We have no financial products to sell and no commissions to earn.

Lasting reference materials

Participants receive printed booklets and written session summaries. The knowledge stays with your household long after the programme ends.

Questions & Answers

Some questions you may have

Who are Bao Hin's programmes designed for?
Our programmes are shaped for adults in their forties and fifties living in Singapore — people who have accumulated some savings and would like to understand their financial position more clearly, but who have not necessarily studied finance and have no wish to sit through a hard sell.
Do I need any prior financial knowledge to attend?
No prior knowledge is needed. The Household Hall Discussions begin from first principles, and even the investment course takes care to explain the foundations before moving forward. Participants come from very varied backgrounds.
Where are the sessions held?
Group sessions take place at our premises at 145 Holland Road, #06-12, Singapore 278658. Private Hall Track sessions may be arranged at our premises or at a quiet location of your preference.
Will anyone try to sell me a financial product?
No. Bao Hin does not distribute financial products, hold a financial adviser's licence, or earn commissions from any institution. Our programmes are educational in nature, and that is where our interest lies.
How do I pay, and is there a refund policy?
Payment details are shared once you confirm your place. We accept PayNow and bank transfer. Participants who withdraw at least seven days before the first session receive a full refund. Within seven days, a credit towards a future programme is offered.
How long before I receive a response to my enquiry?
We aim to respond to all enquiries within two working days. During intake periods the response may take a little longer, but we will always write back.
Can my spouse or partner attend alongside me?
Yes. For group programmes, a spouse or partner attends as a separate participant. For the Hall Track private programme, the session is designed for the household and both partners are welcome throughout.
